Startup Window

Learn how to get started in Filmora, a video editing software that enables users to create amazing videos efficiently using a wide range of powerful editing tools.

Index

You select the function you need by clicking the corresponding tab based on your operational purpose.

Note:

If you don't see this startup window, please upgrade to the latest version, and then go to File > Preferences > General tab to enable this startup window. It will show when Filmora launches next time.

Create Projects

1Select the desired aspect ratio from the drop-down menu.

2Click on Create Project to enter the editing interface and start working on your new project.

Instant Mode

Instant Mode provides complete video templates. You can quickly get a nice video within your media.

Browse all templates as desired, and then do the following:

Click See All on the top right to go full screen of all templates.
Select templates in wide, square, vertical size from the drop-down box on the right side of the Search Bar.

The startup window has added shortcuts to screen tools, which you can select to use as desired.

Aspect Ratio

Aspect ratios are set at the top of the startup window to meet different scenarios, including Widescreen, Instagram, Portrait, Standard, Buesiness, Cinema.
